6. Why do we use encryption?
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
We draw your attention to the fact that - subject to explicit agreement and configuration - emails sent to us are unencrypted. If you wish to transmit confidential or sensitive information by email, please contact us in advance to agree on a secure method for data transmission.
7. To whom is your data transmitted?
In connection with the provision, operation, optimization, and maintenance of our website, we work with external processors. Our processors and recipients of the data are contractually bound.
The majority of our processors and partners are located within the EU-EEA or Switzerland. Should a transfer of your data to a third country outside the EU-EEA or Switzerland be necessary in exceptional cases, this will generally only take place if an adequate level of data protection exists or if further guarantees can be used to ensure data protection.
8. How long will your data be stored by us?
In principle, data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve its purpose. For personal data collected when visiting our website, we store the data for a maximum period of 12 months. Further storage is possible according to Art. 11 GDPR after anonymization. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are altered so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.
